📄️ Policy Overview
The Lens Policy allows you to create and apply device configurations across multiple layers, with each having a specific priority level. A Priority level of a Policy layer impacts the Inheritance. The settings at a Policy layer of higher priority will take precedence over settings set at a lower priority. To access the Policy interface, select Manage > Policies. To access any of the Policy levels, simply select the level, and the Policy detail page will open.

The Policy Settings page allows you to configure a Policy in Poly Lens. This section is specific to Policy Settings.
📄️ Policy by Individual Device
The Individual Device feature allows you to locate a device to view that device's policy.
📄️ Policy by Device User Group
The Device User Groups feature supports adding Policies along with Devices Users to a Group.
📄️ Policy by Site
A Site Policy enables you to manage a group of device policies at a defined site. This policy will simplify the management of a large group of devices by location and can be configured for Device Families or Device Models for each site. A device can belong to only one site, and therefore Inherit a single Site Policy at any time, to apply the device to a new Site Policy, move the device to the new Site.
📄️ Policy by Device Group
The Device Groups feature supports allows you to define policies that apply to devices associated with the group. This policy will simplify the management of groups of devices that are defined by you and can be configured both by Device Family and Device Model for each group. Devices can belong to multiple groups and inherit settings from all the groups it is associated with. Priority for Inheritance across multiple groups is configured directly on the device status page.
📄️ Policy by Account
Policy by Account enables you to create policies that apply to all devices connected to your Poly Lens Account. This policy simplifies the management of your entire fleet of devices and can be configured both by Device Family and by Device Model.
