Activating Features

To activate a cloud-based Poly Labs feature.

  1. In the Poly Lens cloud, select your Account.
  2. Go to the Admin menu icon Admin menu > Poly Labs.
  3. Locate a Poly Labs feature tagged as Lens Cloud.
  4. Select Explore to view the feature information.
  5. Select Activate.
  6. Select View Report to be directed to the feature that was activated.
  7. Provide Feedback after you have used the feature.

Activate a Cloud-Based Poly Labs Feature

  1. In the Poly Lens cloud, select your Account.
  2. Go to the Admin menu icon Admin menu > Poly Labs.
  3. Locate a Poly Labs feature tagged as Video Conferencing.
  4. Select Explore to view the feature information.
  5. Select Activate.
  6. Select the Device, and the Device Group that the device is in from the dropdown menu.
    Note: Only Devices that meet the criteria of the Feature (supported device, supported software version) will appear in the dropdown menu.
  7. Select Save and Apply.
  8. The feature is now activated on the device, and can be configured and viewed on the Device Web Configuration Utility.

Requirements

Supported devices must be onboarded into a Poly Lens cloud Account that is enrolled in Poly Labs.

Disclaimer and Support

Poly Labs features may or may not progress to general availability based on feedback and evaluation by Poly. Therefore, Poly recommends using Poly Labs features in test environments or designated Rooms. If you experience issues due to a Poly Labs feature, disable the feature. If disabling the feature doesn't resolve the issue, disable Poly Labs.

Use the Feedback button for the corresponding feature in Poly Labs to report any issues or bugs. Since Poly Labs features are in early-stage development, escalating issues related to Poly Labs features through other support channels is not supported.
