Well, your wish has been granted! We’re excited to introduce Tagging in Poly Lens — a simple yet powerful way to categorize, filter, and manage your devices with ease.

Whether you want to group devices by location, department, status, or something completely out of the box (we won’t judge if you tag a device as "Bob's Problem Child") — this feature gives you full flexibility.

How Tags Make Your Life Easier

With tags, you can:
Quickly locate devices by filtering based on tags.
Organize your inventory using custom labels that fit your workflow.
Efficiently manage devices by grouping them in a way that makes sense to your team.

Getting Started with Tags

Create a Tag

  1. Navigate to Manage > Tags.
  2. Select Add New.
  3. Enter a name for your tag (e.g., Conference Rooms, Needs Attention, or Definitely Not Haunted).
  4. (Optional) Add a description for clarity.
  5. Choose a color for your tag—because who doesn’t love some color-coded organization?
  6. Select Save.

Assign a Tag to a Device

  1. Navigate to Manage > Inventory.
  2. Select the device you want to tag.
  3. Click the Tags button.
  4. Choose the tag(s) you want to assign.
  5. Tags will now appear in the Tags column of your Inventory.

Fun Ways to Use Tags (Because Why Not?)

💻 "CEO’s Favorite" – For that one device that gets special treatment.
