With the launch of the new HP Poly Studio suite of apps, we have streamlined our experience to help you manage app deployments and updates with confidence. Whether you’re an IT Admin or an IT Decision Maker, these updates are designed to give you more control and flexibility.
What’s New on the App Deployment Page?
You can still access the App Deployment page by navigating to: Account > Account Settings > App Deployment
Once there, you will notice a refreshed, user-friendly design. Each app now has its own dedicated page, making it easier to view all available distribution methods. You can even download the app directly from these pages.
Additionally, Client Token creation and storage for loginless access is now located on each application page that supports this feature. More details and documentation can be found on the App Deployment Overview page.
Manual Upgrade Required for Now
To give you full control over deployment, Poly Studio Desktop will not automatically upgrade to the new HP Poly Studio versions at this time—even if your organization has an auto-update policy in place.
When you’re ready to upgrade, you can do so manually within your Poly Lens Cloud Account. This ensures you have flexibility and control during the transition.
Poly Lens will resume its normal auto-update functionality in the future for organizations with the appropriate policy enabled. In the meantime, we encourage you to test the new HP Poly Studio apps as soon as possible to experience the latest improvements.
